Tyler Hatch 28 of Hurdsfield died Monday June 13, 2016 at the Sanford Medical of Bismarck.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 16 at the Hurdsfield Community Center.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a prayer service open to the public at 7 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey and one hour prior at the community center.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hurdsfield, ND.
Tyler was born on April 20, 1988 in Harvey, ND to Orville and Candis (Weippert) Hatch. He grew up on the family farm south of Hurdsfield
He attended public school in Hurdsfield and Harvey before attending Lake Region College in Devils Lake and Bismarck State College. Tyler worked almost five years for the Wells County Road Department, first as a laborer and later as a maintainer operator
Tyler enjoyed living in the country and loved the outdoors. He loved to hunt and ice fish. He also enjoyed gardening and his two dogs, Zach and Zoey. Tyler was a member of the Bowdon Lutheran Church and served on the Silver Lake Township Board.
Tyler and Tessa Rice were married on August 8, 2013 in Carrington. They were blessed with a son, Ayden James on October 31, 2012.
Tyler is survived by his wife, Tessa and son, Ayden of Hurdsfield; parents Orville and Candis Hatch of Hurdsfield, brother, Ryan Hatch (Rachel Dubord and her children) of Lincoln, ND.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents; Orville and Irene Hatch and Edwin and Rosella Weippert; Aunt Sandra Hatch; Uncle Mike Weippert and cousin Tracy Hatch.
