Jessica Marie Jefferson Brown, age 32, formerly of Kerrville, TX passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Bastrop, TX.
Jessica was born September 1, 1983 in Kerrville, TX the daughter of Michael and Maria Jefferson. She was married to Tony Lee Brown. She played volleyball in middle school and in high school, was involved with basketball, track and golden girls. Jessica attended Schreiner University and worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier before working her way up to General Manager after 18 years. She then moved to Austin, TX and worked as General Manager for Title Max for the last 1 ½ years.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her parents: Maria Jefferson and Jerome DeGrate, Michael and LaWanda Jefferson, children: Travion LaVonte Lee Jefferson and Tyrique LoVell Lee Brown, brother: Martin ''Marty'' Daniel Jefferson and wife, Jennifer, previous sister-in-law: Christy Lancaster, previous husband: Tony Lee Brown, previous mother-in-law: Rose Vasquez, nieces: Elaria Jefferson, Dominique Lancaster, Destiny Ezernatk, nephews: Dominic and Elijah Jefferson, Mario and Clarence Keith.
Celebration of life services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Kerrville Church of Christ with Tony Vela, Sr. and Tony Vela, Jr. officiating with the interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Kerrville. The family will receive friends in the main chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established in Jessica's name for funeral expenses at the Texhillco School Employees Federal Credit Union, 1018 Sidney Baker, Kerrville, TX 78028 with another memorial fund having been established for Jessica's children at the Security State Bank and Trust, 1130 Junction Highway, Kerrville, TX 78028.
