Wanda Dotson French of Sweetwater died on October 23, 2003 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
There will be a graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Rev. James Baker will be officiating. Arrangements have been made with McCoy Funeral Home.
Wanda was born in San Marcos on August 28, 1909 and married Alvie French on October 12, 1929 in Gatesville, TX. She was an LVN from 1952 through 1975 and worked for the Young Clinic for 30 years and worked in nursing homes and hospitals in the area. She lived in Sweetater since 1948.
She is survived by four daughters Genevieve Shuler and husband James of Sweetwater, Fay Tucker and husband Bennie of Cold Springs, TX, Joyce Ann Bromley of Dallas, and Beth Sells of Clyde; one son, Price Dale "Buddy" French and wife Glenda of Houston, TX; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975.
