NICHOLAS MOORE FLETCHER was a 14 year old boy at time of the 1900 Census, living with his father Joshua C. Fletcher III, mother Sarah Ophelia, and 11 other siblings. He is believed to be the 6th child born of that union.
At the time of the Census, the family were all residents of the Battletown District (Mt. Airy Precinct), Clarke Co., Virginia
Nicholas married a Ms. Annie Arrowsmith/Ayres; date and location--unknown. This marriage is believed to have produced two sons: the first, a Wallace/William Fletcher; the second Nicholas Moore Fletcher, Jr.
NOTE: according the Census data available this makes Nicholas birthday to fall on May 1886. Regardless, with the aforementioned birth and death dates he would have been 57 yrs old at the time of his death.
