PAULINE M. KRAUSE
Mrs. Alois Krause, 62, of Rt. 1, Mishicot, died at Manitowoc County
Hospital Wednesday night after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Lambert Funeral Home,
Mishicot, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, the
Rev. Anthony Betley officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery,
Mishicot.
Mrs. Krause, nee Pauline Benesch, was born June 29, 1906, in the Town
of Mishicot, a daughter of the late William and Mary Kaiser Benesch. She
attended the Kettle Range district school in the Town of Kossuth and was
graduated from Mishicot High School and the former Manitowoc County Normal
School. She later taught at Brookville district school in the Town of
Kossuth and at Holmes district school in the Town of Mishicot.
She was married at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills, Nov. 6, 1929, to
Alois Krause after which the couple settled on a farm in the Town of Two
Creeks. She was a member of St. Mary Rosary Society and Twin Elder Homemakers
Club.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, (private); two sons, (private);
three sisters, Mrs. Mayme Zima and Mrs. Julius (Rose) Soucoup, both of Mishicot,
and Mrs. Otto (Frances) Reich of Green Bay, and 16 grandchildren. A sister
preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m.
