Howard Franklin Barger Sr., age 72, of Bluff City, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Wellmont Hospice House.
He was born October 27, 1943 in Kingsport, Tenn., a son of the late Raymond and Della Franklin Barger. Mr. Barger was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of Fellowship Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Fellowship Chapel with Rev. Scott Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. The interment will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday at Shelby Hills Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fellowship Chapel, 201 Crockett S. Bristol, VA 24201 or Wellmont Hospice House, 1 Medical Park Blvd Bristol, TN 37620.
