Mark Christopher Dean was released from his earthly struggles to his Heavenly Fathers care Wednesday June 8, 2016.
Mark was born April 9, 1963 in Whittier, California to Sara Ann Kimball and Daniel Bertrum Dean. He was raised in California where he spent much time at the ocean surfing. He graduated high school in Irvine California, and then attended BYU Hawaii. He moved to St. George in 2005.
He worked in real estate. Insurance and loved collecting antiques focusing on old slot machines, phonographs, clocks and had a passion for watches.
Mark was loved by all that knew him. He was charismatic, funny, loved music and loved to karaoke, had a great memory, and had a wonderful smile.
Mark is survived by one son, Mark Christopher Dean, II; four and half granddaughters; brother, Dr. Jeffery Steven Dean; and his mother Sara Ann Ornstead.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with an impressive heritage. Mark will be greatly missed, but know he is in a peaceful dwelling to learn and grow.
Funeral Services will be held June 14. Interment will be at the St. George City Cemetery.
