She was born in St. Thomas to William and Rose Adrian Schmidt. She was married on February 14, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Ray W. Radmacher who died on April 17, 1967. She was married on November 11, 1968 in Jefferson City to Herman M. Baumhoer who died on December 2, 1990.
Survivors include two daughters, Janette Rose Miller, New Haven, Connecticut; and Jean Marie Wilbers, Kansas City; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Norma Ullman, St. Thomas; and Sr. Rose Schmidt, San Diego, California.

A homemaker, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown; St. Ann's Sodality; and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
