Charles Edwin Stanford, 81, formerly of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Madison, Tennessee.
The family will have visitation at the cemetery from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Hickory Flat Cemetery in Cedar Grove. Bro. Bob Tucker will officiate the service.
Mr. Stanford was born February 12, 1935 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Oscar Brown and Birdie Mae (Clark) Stanford. He was a retired mechanic for the Kimberly Clark Corporation in Memphis and served in the Unites States Air Force, He is also preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ann Williams.
He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Stanford of Memphis, Christa Stanford Thomas (Bill), and Susan Stanford Hunt (Troy) both of Hendersonville; two sisters, Margie Cameron of Cedar Grove, and Doris Butcher (Clifford) of Florida. He also leaves six grandchildren, Bradley Poe of Murfreesboro, Julianne Peace (Jordan) of Gallatin, Grant Poe of Hendersonville, Brandon Hunt (Lexi) of Gallatin, Kelly Hunt, and Annie Hunt both Hendersonville.
