Joel I Farmer Died in Moultrie
Remains Brought Here and Buried in Camp Creek Cemetery
The remains of Mr. Joel I. Farmer were brought to this city Wednesday from Moultrie where he died early Wednesday morning. They were carried to the home of Mr. Pierson Frazier near Hopewell church. The funeral and burial was at Camp Creek church Thursday afternoon.
Mr. Farmer was a native of Baldwin county and grew to manhood here. He served as rural route carrier on rural route four for a number of years, and was well known throughout the county. He is survived by his wife and several children, several sisters and brothers.
He was a faithful member of the Primitive Baptist church.
