Born on July 22, 1919 in Warren County, IN, she was the daughter of the late William Vester and Ella (Arvidson) Vester. She was a 1937 graduate of Pine Village High School.
She married Lloyd J. Frazier on November 15, 1941 and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1992. Wilma was a clerk for the former Lafayette Life Insurance Company and had retired in 1984. She had also worked for State Farm Life for eight years.
She was a member of Badger Grove Community Baptist Church in Brookston. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Women of the Moose Auxiliary, Collegian of the Moose and the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Wilma enjoyed spending many winters in North Fort Myers, FL. She loved playing cards, dominos, reading, crossword puzzles, watching Cubs and Purdue sports and spending time with friends and family. Her children especially remember their mother as being kind, smart, bright, tolerant and sweet.
Surviving are her children: Mary Brannan (husb: Steve) of Portland, OR, Alice Knoy (husb: Ron) of West Lafayette, Kathie Connelly of Sarasota, FL and John Frazier (wife: Carolyn) of Brookston, brother: Max Vester of Lafayette, 7 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, William Vester, brother Jack Vester and son-in-law, John Connelly.
