Allen T. "Pop" Dever, 94, died Feb. 15 at Magnolia Care Center after a long illness. Mr. Dever was born in Scioto Twp., Ohio, and lived in the Akron area most of his life. He operated a frame and wheel alignment garage in the Akron area. Mr. Dever attended various Churches of God, Anderson, Indiana, in the Akron area. Preceded in death by wife, Matti L., and son, Robert W., he is survived by 4 sons and a daughter, 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family, Rev. John McFarland officiating. Burial Hillside Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Ellet Community Church of God, 2700 Priscilla Ave.
