Ken Holland, age 82, of Benton, KY, died Sunday, June 12, 2016, at his residence in Benton, KY. Mr. Holland was a self employed artist, a KY Colonel, and a member of Oak Level Missionary Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Charles J. Holland and the late Jewel (Tynes) Holland. He was also preceded in death by his first wife: Bethel Holland; and one brother: Neal Holland.
He is survived by his wife: Mary (Wood) Holland of Benton, KY; two sons: Wes Holland of Cape Coral, FL and Wayling Holland of Benton, KY; two step sons: Terryl and Troy Thompson both of Paducah, KY; one brother: Duane Holland of Benton, KY; two sisters: Shirley Langford and Vicki Jo Reed both of Benton, KY; four grandchildren: Benjamin Holland of Benton, KY, Grace Goff of Missouri, Sarai Ruke of Windermere, FL, and Joe Ray Mancell of Buchanan,TN; and six great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, June 13, 2016. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 14, 2016, Rev. Duane Holland and Rev. C.C. Brasher officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY.
