Don R. Gebhart, age 75, of Hamilton passed away in San Diego, California Wednesday April 10, 1996 at 11:05 a.m. He was born in Hamilton the son of William H. and Freda (Dornberger) Gebhart. Don received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1942; was a member of the Elk's Lodge #93 and was the founder and president of Livingston Tyler Products which he started in 1951 until his semi-retirement in October of 1995 at which time his son, Craig purchased the business. In 1946, in Covington, Kentucky he was married to Maurine Livingston and she preceded him in death in 1978. In 1984, in Oxford he was married to Doris Conrad.
He is survived by his wife, Doris of Hamilton; two sons, Christopher and his wife, Rosemary Gebhart of West Chester, Craig and his wife, Cathy Gebhart of Hamilton; one daughter, Lisa and her husband, Terry Warncke of Waynesville, Ohio; one brother, Bob Gebhart of Oxford; two sisters, Betty McGaw and Lois Depweg both of Arlington, Texas;; eight grandchildren, Bryan, Gina, Sean, Lindsay, Lauren, Megan, Jared and Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Mary.
Funeral services will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with Father Jim Mead, Pastor of St. John's Catholic Church, West Chester, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
