Kevin Lee Morrow’s legacy will live on through his family, friends and the people he impacted. Among the people that will miss Kevin beyond these words can express are his father Larry, his mother Sandy, his brother Jason and his sister Julie.

It’s been said, “To make a friend, be a friend.” Kevin lived that way. Also, he was the epitome of what a big brother should be. He was the eldest of Larry and Sandy’s three kids.
Kevin was strong. He battled kidney disease but carried himself well through it all. He saw promotion at work and increased happiness after facing a serious health crisis in 2012 with that disease.

His loving girlfriend, Molon Rahman, and he were inseparable when he was alive. They would travel together, try interesting restaurants and visit various zoos. Kevin loved animals. Kevin maintained his tough guy, well-groomed, beard but in that was a smile that said he had a heart of gold.

Kevin enjoyed a baseball game. He and his brother would smile and laugh about the good times with their dad and uncle Ken at the old Tiger Stadium. Kevin enjoyed great times with family and friends at the new stadium as well.

Kevin might not admit it, but he was a bit of a momma’s boy. He loved his mom. His mom while heartbroken, will remember all the little league games, the stories about work and Kevin’s love of the family cats.

His sister Julie always knew that her big brother Kevin would be there for her in a time of need. For that she will be forever grateful.

Kevin positively impacted people everywhere he went. His little league buddies from back when, his classmates when he was in school, co-workers and customers. A recent example is the day after the passing, a friend reached out to him without knowing he had passed. His family had his phone. The friend thanked him in a text message for giving a letter of recommendation to become a medical student.

Another thing people should know about Kevin is that on the night that he passed, he had just left a charity event to help children. He was always looking out for people.

Kevin will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and strength. Looking at him, you would not know the things he overcame from a health standpoint. It’s said that it’s a lost battle when people pass from health issues. But Kevin won. He won because he did not let that stop him from living. He won because he carried himself with strength. He won because the people that love him so much will remember him as a great son, brother, friend and co-worker. We’re blessed for having known him and we’re thankful for God having given us the time with him.

SPECIAL THANKS
The Morrow family would also like to say a special thank you to their extended family, the Eckl’s, for their kindness and love during this difficult time. Also, all of Kevin’s friends and co-workers, your kindness has meant so much to us. We know that Kevin would want you all to know that each of you mattered to him. Thank you all.
