David L. Belcher

David L. Belcher of Reedsport, OR died on June 10, 2016 of Parkinson's Disease. He was 85. He was born in Medford, OR on February 13, 1931 to parents Harlen and Lillian Sutton Belcher.
He graduated from Cottage Grove High School, and served in the U.S. Navy.
He married Aileen Kae Shaw.
David was a pilot, and loved to fly. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He fished all the time. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Eugene.
He is survived by daughter, Brenda (Ken) Carlson of Rancho Santa Fe, CA; daughter, Michele Belcher of Eugene; daughter, Annette (Everett) Worley of Eugene; brother, Clifford (Loretta) Belcher of Winchester Bay, OR; brother, Clayton (Vera) Belcher of Cottage Grove; five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Aileen Kae Belcher, who died in 2009.
There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17 at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, Glendale, OR.
Memorial contributions may be made to SHMC Hospice in Eugene. Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
