Crystal Dawn (Bailey) Blake, 42, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, June 10, 2016 in Houghton, New York.

She was born February 18, 1974 in Owatonna, Minnesota, the daughter of Paul and Wandaruth (Wiley) Bailey.

Crystal married Matthew Blake December 16, 1995 at Trinity Bible Church in Cedar Falls.

She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1992 and from Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Indiana in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Crystal actively served her church in Europe with her husband.

Crystal is survived by her husband, Matthew Blake, of Cedar Falls; two sons, Joshua and Jacob Blake, both of Cedar Falls, her daughter, Abigail Blake, of Cedar Falls; her parents, Paul and Wandaruth Bailey, of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Brian (Julie) Bailey, of South Gate, Michigan and Keith Allen (Jennifer) Bailey, of Cedar Falls, and one sister, Sarah (Joshua) Palmer, of Hudson, and many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at Trinity Bible Church, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church on Friday.

Memorial s may be directed to the Children’s educational fund (Blake children’s fund).
