He was a native of Frost and attended Frost Schools.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Geneva Ballew; sons, Darrell Wayne Ballew and Jerry Lynn Ballew; daughters, Mrs. Robert F. Golden, all of Red Oak, and Miss Patricia Ballew of Irving; five grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Mabel Ballew of DeSoto; brothers, Aubrey Ballew, Gresham, Oregon; Newburn Ballew of Van Horn; George Ballew of Dallas; sisters, Mrs. Eddie Krupa of Ft Worth; Mrs. E.
