Civil War Veteran. Served as 1st Lieutenant with Co. A, 1st Maine Sharpshooters, participated in the siege of Petersburg, Virginia and was at Appomattox Court House, Virginia for the surrender of General Robert E. Lee. Wight later moved to Colorado and was successful in ranching and banking.
