She was born in Palestine, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Cleve and Cigal M. Cox Sheppard.
Wanda was a graduate of Wirt County High School. She was a homemaker and attended Faith Baptist Church.
She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cross stitch and reading her Bible. She liked gardening and flowers.
She is survived by her daughter Doris Hardman (Danny), of Waverly, WV; her son Mark McCoy ( Teri Stines), of Belpre, OH; grandchildren Shawn Hardman (Brandy), Jason Hardman, Jessica McCoy (Ron), Angie McCoy, Matthew McCoy, and Hayden McCoy; great grandchildren Jaylyn McCoy, Landon McCoy, Brantley McCoy, Riley Jenkins, Ashtyn Jenkins, Jonathan Hardman, Shyanne Hardman, and David Alex Hardman; sisters Jo Ann Fulton (Dick) and Mary Lou Wyrick (Jim) and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. McCoy; brothers Donald, John, Charles, Lynn, Jimmy and Paul Sheppard; sisters Thelma Light, Myrtle Cooper, Juanita Chipman, and Mae Harper.
Services will be 11 am Tuesday June 14, 2016, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Parkersburg, with Pastor Jim Yoak officiating. Burial will follow at Two Run Cemetery in Wirt County.
