Juanita Simmons Dobbins of Hickory, NC died peacefully at home. She was born to the late Drury Landrum Simmons and Mary Maude Simmons. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Boyce B Dobbins: daughter, Peggy L Sigmon, brothers, Odell Simmons (Annie), Van Simmons (Helen), Virgil Simmons, G E Simmons (Helen), sisters May Ward (Paul), Selma Melton (Howard), Lula Willis (Dewey), and Ethel Mc Curry (Clarence).

Juanita and her husband, Boyce, founded Uniform Rental Supply in Hickory in 1956. Juanita served as corporate secretary for the business until her retirement. She loved working alongside her husband and son in the business but her true joy was her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, and her church. She and her husband were active members of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church for many years. She loved working with the children in her church.

Juanita was a sweet, kind woman and a wonderful example to all who knew her.
