Teresa Lawson Wood age 56, of the Fairview Community, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at her home. She was born July 14, 1959 in Scott County, Tennessee to Susie Strunk Lawson and the late Roscoe Lawson. She was a Member of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by the father of her Children: Lester Allen Wood; Brothers: Paul Meredith Lawson and Curtis Ray Lawson; Grandparents: Jehu and Rachel Strunk, Robert and Lydia Lawson.
She is survived by her Children, Martina Ashley Wood, Trevor Allen Wood; Mother: Susie Strunk Lawson; Brother: Clifton Lawson and wife Willie; Sister: Sharon Marlow and husband Michael; Special Cousin: Norma Jean Lay; Special Friend: Sandy Byrd; Very Special Friend: George W. Potter; several nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Saturday Evening, June 11, 2016, in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Sunday Morning, June 12, 2016 at the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Lowe Officiating. Music will be provided by Fairview Missionary Baptist Church Choir. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
