Michael J. Maier, age 65, of Toledo, passed away June 6, 2016 at home. He was born 1951 to Stanley and Martha Maier in Shelby, Ohio. Mike graduated from Shelby High School in 1969 before moving to Toledo. He married Paula Williams, June 23, 1973. Mike worked for American Oxygen Company and then for AES Scales before retiring in 2007. He collected and repaired antique clocks. Mike is survived by his wife, Paula, daughter, Katie (Dave) Budas, grandchildren, Samantha and Jack, step mother, Sally Maier, brothers, Chuck (Kathy), Bob, and Steve (Marilyn) Maier, sister, Mary (Blane) Mahon, mother in law, JeanAnn Williams, brother in law, Craig (Sue) Williams, sister in law, Janet (Denny) Bemiller, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3pm to 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo.
