Annie Lois Franklin, 85, of Carthage, passed away on June 10, 2016 in Carthage. She was born on December 11, 1930 to Martha Morris and Jesse Edmond in Tatum, Texas. She made Panola County her home, where she met her husband R. Lee Franklin and became a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Five beautiful children were the result of the 60 year union of R. Lee and Annie Lois Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Lee Franklin, one daughter Annie Louise Franklin, and three granddaughters.
