Eric was an avid sports enthusiast, he especially loved playing baseball with his sons. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his cars and he loved his precious boys.
He is survived by his sons Austin and Tyler Elliott; his parents, Eric Hugh, Sr. and Margaret Toombs Elliott of Spotsylvania; brother Bradley Elliott of Spotsylvania; sister Alicin Elliott of Caroline County; paternal grandparents Lew “Pop” and Fay Elliott of Spotsylvania; maternal grandparents Jesse and Alice Toombs of Spotsylvania; and numerous close cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Elliott
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
