Peggy Sue Pierson, 76 of Denton passed away on June 3, 2016 in Denton. She was born March 25, 1940 to Ralph and Mary Rogers in Hope, ARK. She married Donald Ray Pierson on August 1, 1958 in Denton, Texas.
Peggy was a homemaker, constant companion to her husband and mother to her children. Never one to leave a task undone, or a conversation unfinished, a servant to her family and to the community.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Ray Pierson of Denton, daughter, Terri Wilson and husband Weldon of Denton, son, Tommy Pierson of Ledbetter. Grandchildren, Donald Wilson, Brooke Moore and husband Wade, and Kristin Schwartz all of Denton. Four sisters, Barbara Moore, Catherine Saunders, Martha Page, Corrie Carlson and one brother, Jim Rogers. Great Grandchildren Blake and Camryn Schwartz, McKenzie and Maggie Moore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Dennis Gene Pierson, three brothers, Gene Rogers, Ralph Garner II, Haskel Rogers, one sister Bobbi Prescott, sister in law Nellie Vinson and husband Taylor, niece Donna Oler, nephew, Gary Prescott, brother in law Andy Pierson and wife Clarice Pierson, mother and father in law Jimmy and Maggie Pierson.
The family would like to thank Denton Rehab and Nursing for all their loving care on Mom.
