Sophie Margaret Stanislawski was born on April 30, 1911, in Portage, Wisconsin. She married Earl James Stillman on November 9, 1938, in Rosholt, Wisconsin. The couple lived on Siegert Street in Marion and had two children: Larry and Donnabelle Dillenburg. Earl died when Sophie was only 37. In July 1955 she married Roderick Gremminger. She worked as a waitress for Haskin's Restaurant from 1934 until it became Weiland's Restaurant. Then she worked there until the business was moved by Jerry & Pat's to its current location in Clintonville. Sophie worked at Jerry & Pat's Cafe until the end of May 1998. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and a past member of the Christian Mother's Society. Sophie enjoyed gardening and
cooking. She died on July 30, 1998, at the age of 87, and was buried in Marion on Greenleaf Cemetery with Earl.
