Mary was born to Reinhold and Katherine Berg on March 8, 1939 in Wing, where she was raised and attended school at Wing Public School. She married Rudy Unruh on September 19, 1960 and spent the early years of her marriage in Pierre, SD. They relocated back to Wing where they raised four sons and she resided the balance of her years.
Mary worked for many years as a seamstress in Bismarck, and also enjoyed creating keepsakes through knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed baking, canning, and above all working in her flower gardens
She is survived by her husband Rudy, four sons; Brian (Mandan), Bruce (Justice, IL), Brent (Wing), and Blain (Wausau, WI); four siblings; Rueben Berg (West Fargo), Lenora Folmer (Regan), Burnell Berg (Bismarck) and Susan Stockert (Bismarck); eight grandchildren and fivegreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Reinhold and mother Katherine.
