Mary Jane Unruh, 77, passed away at her home in Wing, ND on Tuesday June 7. A memorial service will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wing on Monday June 13, at 11:00 a.m., with graveside services scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. The family will be recieving friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mary was born to Reinhold and Katherine Berg on March 8, 1939 in Wing, where she was raised and attended school at Wing Public School. She married Rudy Unruh on September 19, 1960 and spent the early years of her marriage in Pierre, SD. They relocated back to Wing where they raised four sons and she resided the balance of her years.

Mary worked for many years as a seamstress in Bismarck, and also enjoyed creating keepsakes through knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed baking, canning, and above all working in her flower gardens

She is survived by her husband Rudy, four sons; Brian (Mandan), Bruce (Justice, IL), Brent (Wing), and Blain (Wausau, WI); four siblings; Rueben Berg (West Fargo), Lenora Folmer (Regan), Burnell Berg (Bismarck) and Susan Stockert (Bismarck); eight grandchildren and fivegreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Reinhold and mother Katherine.
