Rose from a clerk in a small drugstore to founding a chain with over 130 stores in D.C./Md./Va. and surrounding states - Peoples Drug Stores. His obit in the Washington Post said his service was private while the Evening Star said he was to be cremated and have his remains placed in a crypt at the cemetery. The CH office has nothing in its files about him and can't say that he's even buried here.
