Mrs. Sarah Frances Worden, widow of
Adelbert Worden and a resident of the
town of Carmel practically all her life,
died at her home at Long Pond on June 13,
1950. Her age was 69. She was born in the
town of Carmel on Aug. 1, 1880, the
daughter of Joseph and Mary L. Head Fisher.
She is survived by two sons, William H.
Ferguson of Mahopac and Edward J. Ferguson
of Shelton, Conn.; and one daughter, Mrs.
W.S. Gurdineer of Mahopac; two sisters,
Mrs. Alice Hyatt of Tilly Foster and Mrs.
Anna Tucker of Lincolndale; and a brother,
Arthur Fisher of Farmers Mills.
Interment will be made in the Four Corners
cemetery at Towners.
