Mr. Rodney Paul Garland, Jr., age 42 of Summerville, Georgia died on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Born September 11, 1973 in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of the late Rodney Garland, Sr. and Donna Horton Calvert.
He was a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and was employed by Providence Ministry as a carpenter.Paul was a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Donna and Kirk Calvert of Johns Creek, GA, brother and sister-in-law, Casey and Jennifer Calvert of Suwanee, GA, sisters and brothers-in-law, Ashley Marie and Nicholas Williams of Suwanee, GA and Stephanie and Frank Sgro of Johns Creek, GA., nephews Barrett Austin Williams and Domonic Anthony Sgro, niece, Lauren Alexa Sgro.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday June 11th, 2016 from the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Father Carlos Vargas officiating.
The Family will receive friends at the church following the service.
