Rebecca married John Brock on September 7, 1842, in Campbell County, TN. They moved from Tennessee to Iowa Territory and had four children; Elizabeth, Frances, Sarah, and James Matthew.
John died in 1856 in Iowa, the burial site is unknown.
It is believed that Rebecca and her children moved to Kansas to be close to her siblings that were residing in Leavenworth County.
Rebeccas married Isam Ready in 1862 in Leavenworth County, KS. Isam was a widower, who had six children with his previous wife. Three of his children had died prior to his marriage to Rebecca.
Isam and Rebecca had six children together. Only two of the six have been located; Isom and Michael Heland.
