Connie D. Brown Wright, age 74, of Williamstown, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Born on August 16, 1947, in Pendleton County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John Carlos and Pauline Wells Brown. On June 22, 1967, she married Bobby Wright, and her dear husband preceded her in death in July 1982. For several years, she and her late husband farmed the Ponderosa Stock Farm, in Grant County, Kentucky.

For 15ยฝ years, Connie was a department manager at Walmart, in Dry Ridge, where she enjoyed caring for the patrons and her work family. She was a member of Lystra Church of Christ, in Mason, Kentucky, a Kentucky notary public and a former volunteer Girl Scout leader. Previously, she attended Grassy Run Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school. Wherever life took her, Connie sought out opportunities to help family and friends, and she was always glad to share the gift of her cooking. She loved music, reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by: two daughters blessed to have her as their mom, Pauletta L. Wright Johnson (Jeff), of Cleveland, Georgia, and Ginger A. Wright (Jimmy James), of Dry Ridge; a grandson, Jarrod M. Baker, of Williamstown, Kentucky; three step-grandsons, Dylan Johnson, of Richmond, Kentucky, Kyle James, of Lexington, Kentucky, and Corey James, of Southgate, Kentucky; a sister, Ethel Hubbard, of Dry Ridge; several nieces and nephews; several best friends; and a host of lives she touched. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Brown, in 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, at Woodhead Funeral Home, in Falmouth. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, preceding her service at the funeral home. Private family interment will take place at New Columbus Cemetery, in Owen County, immediately following the service. Memorials are suggested to: the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692; or the National Kidney Association, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016. The family will host a reception for friends and family at Jean La Beth, in Dry Ridge, from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m.
