Dec.8,1965-Services for Bobby Joe Chism, 26, who was killed in an automobile accident Dec. 8 in Elgin, Illinois, were conducted Sunday at Stevens Funeral Home. The Rev.Wilford Thompson conducted the services, with burial in Forrest Park cemetery. Mr.Chism was born north of Widener on April 7,1939, and was the son of Lela Mae Johnson and Fate Chism. He had made his home in and around Forrest City until about five years ago when he moved to Elgin. Survivors include his mother, Mrs.Lela Mae Chism Ard of Elgin, Illinois; his father, Fate Chism of Haines City, Fla.; two brothers, Henry Chism of Davenport, Iowa, and Jimmy Chism of Elgin; and two sisters, Mrs.Jane Fay Jones and Miss Judy Carol Chism, both of Elgin.
