Bro. Marion Wilford Thompson, age 81, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. Bro. Thompson was born, Sept. 26, 1925, and was the son of Flanders Thompson and Ethel Mae Gill Thompson. He was a minister, a carpenter and a member of the Madison Baptist Church . He is survived by a brother, Elmer 'Bo' Thompson of Forrest City; a sister, Hazel Martin of Widener and several other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Bro. Thompson will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Morgan Chapel with Bro. Charles Flowers and Bro. Gary Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemtery in Forrest City under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.Published: 2006-10-10
