Miss Mandy Byrd Williams is still living. She is in a nursing home in Forrest City, Arkansas. Crestpark I think is the name of it. It is where the old hospital used to be. Miss Mandy is my husbands step-great-grandmother. Her grandson William Short is his step-father. William's mother was Charlene Williams Makemson who is buried next to her husband at Lindsey Cemetery in St. Francis County just outside of Forrest City on Barrow Hill Road, next to Hughes Cemetery. I will keep you posted if and when Miss Mandy passes. She is 101 years old now.
