Eddie Dwayne Venable, 45, of Pinehollow Road, Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, at his home after a sudden illness.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, by the Rev. Tommy Hepler. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Venable was born July, 6, 1958, in Davidson County to Lawrence Junior Venable and Hazel Harris Venable. He was a former employee of TFI Industries.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Mike Venable and his wife, Cindy, and James Gobble and his wife, Sandra, all of Lexington; and a sister, Taroma Gail Woodard and her husband, Bobby, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home and at other times at the home of his parents at 804 Eleanor Drive.
