Mrs. Dolly Dimple Swallows Newman

Mrs. Dolly Dimple Swallows Newman, age 69, of Jasper, Indiana formerly of Madison entered this life in Tennessee on August 5, 1946. She was the loving daughter of the late, Paris Green and Ethel Lee Miller Swallows. She was raised in the Westport,Indiana community and was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Milhousen. She was raised and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Milhousen. Dolly was united in marriage to Orville Newman and this union was blessed with one son, Ace. She resided in Madison for many years and was employed with Kawneer Company in Carrollton for 27 years retiring as a line worker. She later worked in sales at Peebles Department Store in Madison. Dolly had resided the past 11 years in Jasper to help to raise her granddaughter and be near her son. She enjoyed being a mom and a grandma to Lea. While living in Jasper she enjoyed making "Blessed Blankets" and scarf's for St. Joe Catholic Church in Jasper and for the hospital. She attended Precious Blood Church in Jasper. Dolly enjoyed crocheting, flowers, raising plants, her cat: Emerald, and being with her granddaughter. Dolly died on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at 4:33 p.m. at the St. Vincent Heart Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Dolly will be missed by her loving son, Ace G. Newman of Jasper, Indiana; her loving granddaughter, Lea Newman of Jasper, Indiana; her step sons, Leroy Newman, Orville Allen Newman, Tom Newman, Eddie Newman; her step daughters, Barbara Young, Debbie Newman; several step grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Boehm and her husband, Doug of Westport, Indiana, Barbara Ann Shover of Florence, Kentucky; her brothers, William A. Schoettmer of Westport, Indiana, Patrick F. Schoettmer of Westport, Indiana, John Wolfe of Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Parris Green Swallows, her mother, Ethel Lee Miller Swallows Schoettmer, her step father, Harry Schoettmer, her sisters, Ruth Maydelle Wolfe, JoAnn Miller, Elizabeth Ann Foley and Nita Madrigal, her brothers, Bobby Ray Swallows and Henry Robert Schoettmer, and her step son, Ricky Newman.

SERVICES
Dolly's request was that no services be held.
