The Cumberland Times, November 6, 1929 "John K. Moran, 72, died early Monday morning at his residence in Wilkinsburg, Pa. Mr. Moran is survived by his widow, and two sons, William J. Moran, of Los Angeles, Calif., and John M. Moran, of Wilkinsburg, Pa., and two daughters, Mrs. Andrew Connelly, and Mrs. Theodore Walsh. He is also survived by three brothers, Michael P. Moran, shipping clerk of the Cumberland Steel Co., and Frank J. Moran, this city, and Daniel J. Moran, Thomas, W. Va. Mr. Moran was a member of St. James' Catholic Church from which the funeral took place this morning. Burial was in Wilkinsburg. Mr. and Mrs. Michael P. Moran and their son, Leo D. Moran, attended the funeral."
