Larry Webster a resident of Allen, Texas and beloved husband, father and grandfather passed from this life at his home in Allen on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the age of 82 years and 12 days. He was born on May 27, 1934 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Hugh Edward and Gertrude (Prince) Webster.

Larry married the love of his life Shirley Young in 1957. He served his country proudly in the United States Army as the youngest SSGT in his unit during the Korean War from 1953 thru 1956. He started his won hay contracting business in the Imperial Valley in California and later came back to Oklahoma where he ranched and owned and operated Texoma Auto Supply in Durant. Larry loved animals and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley of their home; son, James Webster of Allen, Texas; daughter, Jeana Webster of Allen, Texas; sister, Sharon McClean and husband Brian of Durant, Oklahoma.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Gertrude Webster; sisters, Betty Baxter, Mildred Woodland and Patsy Byrum.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery Durant, Oklahoma.
