The funeral service for Mr. Christopher Joel Watts, age 43 of Hiram, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville. Burial will follow in the Center West Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Watts passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Hiram. He was a native of Austell, GA and a former resident of Marietta, GA, but had resided in Hiram since 2011. Mr. Watts was a 1991 graduate of McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA. He was employed by Comcast Cable Company for 17 years as a network technician before starting his own business, “Watts Cable Company” in 2011. Mr. Watts was an avid Alabama fan and also a fan of NASCAR driver Tony Stewart. He was a member of Macland Road Baptist Church in Powder Springs.

Mr. Watts is survived by his mother, Audrey Watts of Hiram, GA; two daughters: Brooke and Morgan Watts of Dallas, GA and one brother, Tommy Lee Watts Jr. (Amanda) of Franklin, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Lee Watts Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Winmon #34564858 and Irene Buckhannan #34565391 and his paternal grandparents, Horace and Ruth Watts.
