JACK MALONE
Henderson, TN: Billy Jack Malone age 86 passed away Wednesday morning June 8, 2016 at his home.
He was born March 25, 1930 in Chester County, the son of the late F. Muse Malone and Allye Jewell McKenzie Malone. He graduated Chester County High School in 1948 and attended Shelby County School of Aeronautics and West Tennessee Business College. He served in the Naval Reserve for three years while he was in college. He then entered the U.S. Air Force and served four years. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of TN at Knoxville.
After the service they made their home in Memphis working for Holmes Engineering Company in sales.
He owned and operated Jack Malone Sales and was president and founder of Mechanical Industrial Sales. He was in the sales end of Mechanical and Industrial Sales Incorporated.
They moved to Henderson in 2003 and he continued to do free-lance pump consulting for various engineering firms.
He was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ.
Mr. Malone is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Peters Malone of Henderson; two sons, Patrick Lee Malone and wife Melanie of Henderson and Kerry Jack Malone and wife Donna of Arlington; a daughter, Susan Lynn Malone Humphry and husband Todd of Henderson; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a brother, Donald Mac Malone of Byhalia, MS and a sister, Linda Lou Burnett of Corinth, MS.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday June 10, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Alan Highers and Roy Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
