Lady Theresa Susey Helen Chetwynd-Talbot was the daughter of Charles John Chetwynd Chetwynd-Talbot, 19th Earl of Shrewsbury and Anna Theresa Cockerell.
She married Charles Stewart Vane-Tempest-Stewart, 6th Marquis of Londonderry, son of George Henry Robert Charles William Vane-Tempest, 5th Marquis of Londonderry and Mary Cornelia Edwards, on 2 October 1875.
She was invested as a Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)
From 2 October 1875, her married name became Vane-Tempest. As a result of her marriage, Lady Theresa Susey Helen Chetwynd-Talbot was styled as Marchioness of Londonderry on 6 November 1884. From 3 August 1885, her married name became Vane-Tempest-Stewart.
