John Kelly Passes Away In El Reno
John Henry Kelly died :Monday night at the home of his son, Luther Kelly, at 620 S Hadden. The deceased was a retired farmer.
Mr. Kelly was born Aug 11, 1864, in Bartholomew county, Ind., and came to Union City in 1907. He farmed in the area and later operated a transfer business. He was also a school custodian. Mr. Kelly had lived in El Reno for the past three years. He was a member of the First Methodist church of Union City.
Survivors include two other sons, J. B. Kelly, Kansas City, Mo., and I. D. Kelly, 711 S. Rock Island, a daughter, Mrs. Leo Medearis, Union City; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Drybread, Fresno, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Wilson funeral home chapel. Rev. A. B. Hickman, Guthrie, officiated at the rites and burial was In El Reno cemetery.

EL RENO ---- Funeral for John Henry Kelly, 93-year-old Union City pioneer who died Monday in the home of a son in El Reno, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Wilson funeral chapel here. Burial will be in El Reno cemetery.
Kelly, a native of Indiana, came to Union City in 1907. A retired farmer, he lived there until three years ago when he moved to El Reno.
Surviving are three sons, including Luther and I. D.. both of El Reno; one daughter, Mrs. Leo Medaris, Union City; one sister, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
