She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Burl Clendenin; her parents, Mitch and Verla Wilson of Seth; and her sister, Edith DeNoe of Mountain Home, Ark.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Thompson, and son-in-law, Karl, of Charleston; one grandson, Jeremy Brent Thompson and his wife, Kimberly, and great-grandchildren, Daniel Christian Thompson and Kaitlyn Brooke Thompson, all of Charleston; and one nephew, Ronald DeNoe and his wife, Sharon, of Gassville, Ark.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, being a member the last several years of the Peytona Church of Christ and attending South Charleston Church of Christ the last three years.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, with ministers Louis Watts and Joseph Watts officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to either Ohio Valley University, Parkersburg, or Hubbard Hospice House West, South Charleston.
Pallbearers for the service will be Lindy Abbott, Loren Daniel and Kenny Bailey.
