That family moved to Jackson County, Alabama, where Sarah met her future husband, Silas H. Lewis. After marrying in Jackson County and beginning their family, they moved to Texas where her siblings lived, near Childress County. After Silas died, Sarah went to live with her daughter Lou Ellen Summers in Comanche County, Oklahoma.
