OBITUARY.

Celestia Whitney Haskins was born in Mexico, N.Y., May 16, 1846, and died in Pulaski, N.Y., Dec. 30, 1897, aged 51 years.
She enjoyed excellent opportunities for education in Mexico, which made her always an agreeable and entertaining friend. She was married at the age of 25 to Eugene Haskins. She for forty years gave a beautiful illustration of the value of youthful piety, having united with the M.E. church at the age of 11 years, in which communion she lived actively and usefully to the end. The last few years of her life were periods of suffering quite beyond ordinary experiences, yet at no time did she ever indicate the, slightest disposition to complain. With every motive for living, she was at the same time ever ready to depart which was far better. The memory of her loving care and Christian example will linger like a loving benediction upon all who knew her. Her end was peace, and weary hearts will miss the sunshine of her brave and cheerful spirit.
