Kyle Vernell (Buck) Martin, age 82, of Chillicothe, MO passed away June 9, 2016. He was born August 5, 1933 in St. Louis, IL to Kyle and Nellie (Miller) Martin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Chet Thomas, a granddaughter, Angie McCown, and two sisters, Vera Maskopf and Electra Jacques. He is survived by his wife Leslie, brother Kenny, 8 sons, 8 daughters and numerous grandkids, great-grandkids and several great great-grandkids.

Kyle was raised in the Success, MO area. He served in the United States Marines from 1953 and was honorably discharged July 30, 1956 as a Sergeant. He drove a truck for 63 years and did a lot of farm work.

Buck lived in Dodge City, KS of 30 years and Hoisington, KS for 10 years. He worked many years for Harlan Stoss. Buck was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
