Funeral services for Robert P. Snyder of El Reno will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at First Christian Church with Rev. Richard Newman officiating. Burial will be in the Red Rock Cemetery in Calumet under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Robert went to be with our Lord on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at his home. He was born Oct. 17, 1956, in El Reno. He was a lifetime Canadian County area resident and a graduate of El Reno High School. He was a computer technician and was taking classes at Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech. He was a member of First Christian Church. Robert loved his dogs and cats. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his parents, Art and Sue (DeFrance) Snyder of El Reno; sisters, Diana Luna and husband, Ron of Murfreesboron, Tenn., and Beth Swindler and husband, Bob of Fairbanks, Alaska; nieces, Britni Swindler of El Reno and Brandi Swindler of Fairbanks; and numerous other aunts, uncles and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Christian Church, 400 S. Barker, El Reno, Okla. 73036.
