Janice Warren, 65, of Afton died Wednesday, June 08, 2016 at her home in Afton.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Powers Funeral Home in Afton. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Afton. Pastor Dwayne Henrichs will officiate.
Open visitation will 4-7:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Powers Funeral Home in Afton, with family receiving friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday.

Janice Kay (Lewis) Warren was born October 2, 1950 in Creston, IA to Waunita Leeta (Carter) and Gordon Alexander Lewis. She graduated from East Union High School in 1969. On December 12, 1971 she was united in marriage to Charles "Charlie" Lee Warren at the Baptist Church in Lorimor. Janice worked for the State of Iowa as a secretary and East Union School as a secretary and computer room para-professional from which she retired. Following her retirement, Janice owned/operated the Breezy Ridge Greenhouse.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Waunita Lewis and her brother William "Bill" Lewis.
